California Stewardship Success Stories By Area

NRCS Area 1 (Northern)

This is a land of contrasts. It's a short distance from the Pacific coastline to Mt. Shasta's summit at 14,162 feet. The arid basin and range on the eastside receives as little as 4 inches of precipitation annually. The lush redwood forests on the westside receive as much as 50 inches.
