The soils information contained in this on-line version of the original soil
survey publication is not considered the official soil survey data for Yolo
county.
This website contains a scanned version of
the original soil survey report of Yolo County, California, as issued in
June 1972. The tables were produced with data from the NRCS National Soil Information System
(NASIS). The maps were produced using spot imagery and SSURGO soils
information. The maps include links from map unit symbols to map unit descriptions in the report.
Where appropriate, we
have added the necessary links to make it easier to navigate throughout the different
sections of the survey report.
