Soil Survey of Yolo County, CANote: Access to soil survey information is provided through maps. All text and tables relate to the map symbols and areas delineated on these maps. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of soil survey information should contact the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) at the USDA Service Center that serves the county of interest at: http://offices.sc.egov.usda.gov/locator/app?state=ca. Official Soil Survey Information (maps, data, interpretations, and metadata) is identified in section II of the Field Office Technical Guide (FOTG). Official soil survey attribute data, and to the extent practicable, all other official soil survey information (maps, interpretations, metadata), are maintained and are accessible electronically through the Soil Data Mart (http://soildatamart.nrcs.usda.gov). The soils information contained in this on-line version of the original soil survey publication is not considered the official soil survey data for Yolo county. ![]() This website contains a scanned version of
the original soil survey report of Yolo County, California, as issued in
June 1972. The tables were produced with data from the NRCS National Soil Information System
(NASIS). The maps were produced using spot imagery and SSURGO soils
information. The maps include links from map unit symbols to map unit descriptions in the report.

have added the necessary links to make it easier to navigate throughout the different
