This website contains a scanned version of the original soil survey report of Napa County, California, as issued in August 1978.  The original textual pages, maps and tables have been scanned, to which we have added the necessary links to make it easier to navigate throughout the different sections of the survey report.  Where appropriate, we have included links to new tables, generated from the NRCS National Soil Information System (NASIS).  The map sheets include links from map unit symbols to map unit descriptions in the report.  We have also added a new section with interpretive maps.
