Soil Survey of Colusa County, California

Davis Ranch House - built by Howell and Sebina Davis and completed in 1893. The home is constructed with bricks made from the Vina soils on the property.

This website contains the soil survey report of Colusa County, California, yet to be published. We have added the necessary links to make it easier to navigate throughout the different sections of the survey report.  Where appropriate, we have included links to additional tables generated from the NRCS National Soil Information System (NASIS). The maps were generated from the NRCS SSURGO digital soil lines overlaid on Mr. SID compressed mosaic of digital orthophotography. The maps include links from map unit symbols to map unit descriptions in the report.
