Performance Results System (PRS) Guidance

Performance Results System Guidance provides query tools to find and fix data that are not being captured in PRS. This guidance enables the user to generate reports of incomplete plan records, access the data, view error messages, and make corrections. The guidance also includes a tool to generate unreported fiscal year practices for follow-up activities and summary progress reports.

Quality Assurance – Correcting Data to Enable Progress Reporting

Three tools focus on unreported progress that is the result of records containing incomplete data, glitches created with changes in the software, or editing of previously reported data. These tools are:

1. Quick Search Report J - Plans that have a practice with an applied date this fiscal year and not reported as applied.

This search provides a list of conservation plans that contain practices that have been recorded as applied in ToolKit, but not reported to PRS.

2. Quick Search Report E - Plans that have a plan approval date this fiscal year and have practices that are not reported as planned.

This search provides a list of conservation plans that contain practices planned to be applied this fiscal year but have not been reported as planned to PRS.

3. View Data Errors – Previously reported records are later changed, triggering the reported records to be un-reported in PRS.

This tool provides a list of unreported records, an explanation of what caused the loss of progress, and the link to the record for additional information.

Workload Management – Conservation Practice Follow-up

The following tool provides a way to query the database for uninstalled practices to use in conducting follow-up activities.

• Quick Search Report G - Plans that have a practice scheduled for application this fiscal year and not reported as applied.

This tool provides a list of conservation plans with unreported practices scheduled to be applied in the current fiscal year. The tool is useful in scheduling follow-up activities, focusing on practices that have a higher likelihood of being applied.
