Regional Design Technical Team

The California NRCS Design Regional Technical Team (RTT) has specific responsibility to provide technical assistance to NRCS staffs in California, Hawaii, Nevada and the Pacific Basin. In addition, the staff provides peer reviews, and other guidance and expertise to other NRCS staffs as needed. The Design RTT Staff has considerable experience in the use of the Emergency Watershed protection Program (EWP) to help NRCS staff and local sponsors reduce threats to life and property left after natural disaster events.
